Going along with the last post, I wanted to talk about my horrible skin problem. When I was first being diagnosed with FM I was also concerned with a rash that appeared whenever I was out in the sun. I was like some kind of monster acne, minus nasty blackheads, that would just take over my face. It was horribly painful and ugly. Doc gave me some kind of gel and told me to deal (basically).
I realized that I haven’t really mentioned it in a while. I started using American Beauty liquid makeup and that really seemed to help with the red blotches. It toned them down and I was happy. For a while. That would explain why I didn’t mention it again until now. Today my face has gone crazy again and it’s driving me crazy. I feel like the flawless skin I had as a teenager was a curse and I probably would have been better off with teenage acne.
So, it’s back to the drawing board with that. And one more thing to add to my journal.
