Homecoming

Pee Wee is getting ready to go to the first dance of the year. Homecoming, of course. So, she was off at the mall getting her lovely dress, with her lovely shoes, and some not-so-lovely jewelry. I ended up making her the shoes back for something more reasonable, because she’s just not in the spot where she can spend that much money on herself. She’s got a child now and she’s got to save some money for him. It didn’t go over very well. But she ended up getting some different shoes for half of what she paid for the first pair. She wondered if she should also get herself a swimsuit for next summer, but then decided she didn’t want to be out of style. Ha. Big fail for me, apparently.

Speaking of KJ, he’s up to 15½ pounds and 25 inches long. He’s very much a little ball of cute chub. He talks a lot (and very loud) and is trying to sit up. I’m planning on putting up some pictures eventually. He’s so cute, though. And is so ticklish. He giggles and giggles for his Oma. I have to say, though, I’m not looking forward to the time when he won’t need so many naps. Those really do come in handy with little Mr. Bundle of Energy. Mags keeps herself entertained by playing with him or playing her LeapFrog, so that’s good. But sometimes… Well, it takes a lot of patience, right? This is why God thought it smart to bless me with only one small child at a time.1
