I am starting to make some progress on my diet. It’s hard, though, when the husband and oldest child keep bringing in fattening food. Oh, and when the mother-in-law insists on giving me half of her pie. What are they thinking? I am now considering using something like alli to give me a little boost. It seems to be reasonably priced and a relative said she had some luck with it. If I can just get over that hump that keeps me rosily round.
I have, so far, lost about 10lbs. That doesn’t seem like a lot, I know, but my weight generally varies from day to day by about 20lbs. So, I kept an eye on it. When it I was feeling swollen (20lbs is more than just a little water weight, I think) I’d mark my weight, then I’d mark it again when I was better. It has stayed pretty consistent for a few days and so I’ve declared myself mildly successful- so far. Now I have to push just a little bit harder. Not too hard, of course, but just enough to get to another 10lbs lost. Then I’ll start feeling 10000% better. Right? Probably not, but I’ll look a whole lot better when I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror.
