Springtime in Florida?
I haven’t heard back from my new doctor yet. I’m thinking he hasn’t found anything else wrong with me. I guess that’s a good thing, huh? I did a lot better on the medication this morning, a lot of credit goes to my new Senseo, though. That thing has been a life saver for me. I’m still conflicted about continuing on this medication, though, simply because I hate taking pills every day.
We’re planning a trip to Fort Meyers in the spring. I’m soooo excited! I love Florida, especially the Gulf Coast, but I haven’t been there for probably 18 years. I can’t wait to go. The problem is we’re going to drive down with Mags and our dog. Neither of them have been on long drives before and it could take us days to get there. I’m not looking forward to that part. Still, if we swing along Georgia’s coast and get to stop in Savannah on our way, possibly staying for a night or so, that would make it worth it. I love Savannah too. There’s just something about those trees covered in Spanish moss that makes me all kinds of warm and happy inside. Anyway, we’re going to Fort Meyers to see some family, which could be very, very interesting. Haven’t seen them in a long time, either. And my family is seriously crazy.
I mean that in a good way. I don’t think the husband will ever be quite up to meeting more of my family. Hopefully the fibro won’t keep me from thoroughly enjoying myself.
